After we went to the farm, Aunt Beth wanted to show us the bridge in Waxhaw she used to go to as a child. When she was little she like to go on the bridge and watch as the train would go under. As we were talking about the bridge a train actually came and went right underneath us. When was the last time you were standing above a train as it went by rattling the bridge you were standing on? Probably never, so that was pretty cool. It was a coal train, just in case you were wondering. This bridge has been redone to be a walking bridge now, but 40 some years ago it was used by cars! My friend Candace would love this little town because I think I counted at least 3 or 4 antique stores. Abbey's picture is actually taken in front of an antique store:0)
