Inside the lava cave so dark and cold (42 degrees). Jacob was a bit scared but it turned out okay in the long run. We walked the lower route which took us 3/4 a mile in the dark with 1 flash light and then 3/4 a mile back again. The kids did well. By the time we got to the top it was a balmy 68 degrees...heat wave compared to underground! :0)
