Every year the children's museum in Olympia puts on the Sand in the City. It is really neat to go to. They have "sand castle" contest as you can see, no castles though, everything else. They also have these huge sandboxes for the kids to play in and my kids love it. They have stands of projects for the kids to do like bubbles, digging for seashells, and touching real sea creatures. I missed it because I had to work but daddy took the kids and they had fun until the northwest weather changed and started to rain.
