What cold night! We went to the grassy area to see the tree lighting and fireworks. They were awsome! We ate snacks, drank hot coco, listened to Trans Siberian Orchestra and Manheim Steemroller, and enjoyed a great fireworks display. When it was all over all the trees lit up with lights and the huge tree with a 10ft star lit up. The tree is the only live Christmas tree in the nation, I think I got that correct. We saw a gingerbread exhibit inside the hotel as well, that is where we warmed up. Oh we got the last parking spot too right next to all the events, thanks God!
