Well the last few days have been quite interesting. Thursday night, the storm of the year hit leaving millions without power and hot water. The west part of Washington State was in a state of blackness. It went out right after Survivor. We woke up to no power and 58 degree temps inside and low 40's outside. Our neighbor Amy and her son Keegan came over and played games and she boiled hot water for us. The day came and went and as we woke up the next day to a cold 49 degrees we were really feeling it. I ran over to Amy's to get boiling water and Stacy our other neighbor brought Curtis pipin' hot coffee! Another day bundled up and full of games and laughter. As darkness came again, now 48 degrees inside and a whopping 31 outside, we headed to Stacy's where they had a gas stove and gas fireplace which made their home feel like Hawaii to us! We enjoyed getting to know each other better and a hot plate of spaghetti! Thank the Lord for wonderful neighbors! We came home bundled up and tired because our bodies have been working so hard to keep us warm, we went to bed. I personally went to sleep with mittens, a hat, 3 shirts, 2 pairs of socks, and 2 pairs of pants. Blessings happen and FINALLY we were blessed with power and a loud T.V. at 1045 pm. AMEN, we are warm!!!!!!

P.S> Caleb is taking a candle lit bath to warm up.

Games were played by flashlight :0)
