We have had our first black out at our new home. November has been a crazy month with tons of rain and flooding. One of those crazy days we lost power for about 6 hours or so in the late afternoon. We were so bored!!! Daddy decided to read with his head lamp in the dark to pass time. We would be so lost without electricity! We don't realize how much we use it until it is gone!! We made the best of it and our neighbor so loveingly made us some dinner because she has a gas stove, how I miss ours.
