After the parade we went to Christmas in the Park, which is in Yelm City Park. It was all decorated for the holiday and there were lots of things for the kids to do. Our kids painted pottery (pictured left), warmed up in front of the huge bomb fire (pictured center), made an ornament, and each child wrapped a book and gave it to a friend or sibling, in our case. The park also offered free hot dogs, coco, and pictures with Santa but we were cold and didn't want to wait in the very long lines. It was an enjoyable but cold morning!
